Man who sleeps with fan, TV, and radio on, thinking about getting white noise machine

Nashville, TN - Like many Americans, Ben Collins is finding it harder and harder to get a good night's sleep these days. Time changes, lifestyle, and anxiety have all led to an increase in insomnia.

To combat these sleep-stealers, Collins says he leaves the fan, TV, and radio on. Still, it is not enough.

"I'm thinking about getting one of those white noise machines," Collins told reporters. "I just need something to drown out all the noise pollution."

Experts say white noise machines can help create an environment conducive to sleep. Units range from $35-$100.

Collins says he stayed up until 4 a.m. reading reviews for the various machines on Amazon. He plans to do more research when he goes to bed tonight.

"I just need to sleep. This is horrible," said Collins.
