Nashville pedal taverns to now require drinking helmets after man's close call with car


Nashville, TN - Days after a man was nearly hit by a car downtown Music City, the Nashville Pedal Tavern Association has announced that it will now require all riders to wear drinking helmets.


"Safety is our number one priority. Drinking is our second. We feel drinking helmets will help us fulfill both priorities." said a spokesperson.


The new requirement is schedule to go into effect on September 15.
