Nashville restaurants unveil new hazmat uniform for serving bachelorette parties

Nashville, TN - Several Nashville restaurants have joined together to design a new employee uniform for servers to wear while assisting bachelorette parties.

The new suit, unveiled Tuesday, will offer extensive safety features to protect employees from a variety of dangers associated with bridal celebrations.

A spokesperson for the group told reporters, "After last weekend's incident with the coughing bridesmaid from Alabama, we are taking every precaution to protect Nashville's hospitality workers."

The coalition is also petitioning restaurants to pay servers hazard pay while they are helping bachelorette parties.

Servers we spoke to say the new uniforms and hazard pay are moves in the right direction, but they still experience waves of terror the moment they see a large party of girls wearing cowboy hats and boots.
