NFL announces all Super Bowl viewers must wear masks

Los Angeles, CA - The NFL announced on Wednesday that all Super Bowl viewers, both at SoFi Stadium and at home, must wear masks during the game.

"Our face-covering policy will be strictly enforced by our elite security units. Viewers caught without a mask will be ejected from the stadium or their viewing location," said a spokesperson.

The policy does allow viewers to remove their masks while eating Dorito's and drinking Bud Light, a compromise sponsored by Budweiser and Frito-Lay.

According to reports, those who plan to watch the game at home will be asked to register online so a security officer can be assigned to the viewing party.

The policy did not specify if security officers would be required to wear masks.
