Pete Davidson declines invitation to space due to once-in-a-lifetime tattoo appointment

Van Horn, TX - Less than 24 hours after Blue Origin announced the SNL cast member Pete Davidson would suit up for its next space flight, it was announced that the date had changed and the star would no longer be able to participate.

While the company gave no reason, inside sources tell Inquisitor Nashville that Davidson declined the joyride due to a previously scheduled tattoo appointment.

"Pete hates that he can't make the space journey, but he already had this appointment on his calendar," said an anonymous spokesperson. "It's his 71st tattoo, so it's kind of a once-in-a-lifetime thing."

When asked what ink the star might get, the representative told reporters, "We don't know yet. But Pete really loves space. So, he might get a rocket or something."

The next Blue Origin flight is scheduled for March 29.
