Nashville, TN - Less than 24 hours after developers announced plans to build a new theme park in Nashville, sources say the project has already been replaced with plans for a 2nd Opry Mills Mall.
A spokesperson for the project said, "After a careful review of Music City's history with amusement parks, it is clear that Nashville natives vastly prefer outlet malls."
The spokesperson did not say where the mall would be located but assured residents they were committed to tearing down anything necessary to make the discount mall a reality.
The new Opry Mills #2 will reportedly be anchored by a Sears and JCPenney Outlet and will feature a 29-screen movie theater and a miniature train you can ride through the crowded corridors.
Plans also include a parking lot for 25-30 cars.
