Stadium pyrotechnic supervisor spends evening updating résumé

Nashville, TN - An unnamed pyrotechnic supervisor spent Sunday evening updating his résumé after a piece of equipment under his management erupted into flames and sent plumes of black smoke billowing into a stadium full of unsuspecting football fans.

A witness familiar with the situation says the man stopped by a liquor store on his way home from the stadium then spent the evening revising his work history and searching job openings in Nashville that may require his specialized set of skills. Initial reports suggest that the most closely related opportunity was a Hibachi cook position at an Antioch restaurant.

According to sources, the man was invited via text message to attend a Monday morning meeting at the stadium. The text gave no explanation for the meeting but he was reminded to bring his keys and badge.
