Scranton, PA - The party committee for a Scranton, Pennsylvania paper company say they are planning an office-wide celebration for hometown hero Joe Biden early next week.
Joe Biden was born at St. Mary's Hospital in Scranton, Pennsylvania on November 20, 1942, and lived there until he was 10-years-old.
An assistant to the regional manager told reporters that not only are they having a party, but their regional manager has promised his staff that Vice President Joe Biden will be in attendance.
An HR representative for the company seemed more skeptical. "There is no guarantee Vice President Biden will be here. As a matter of fact, we are still looking into the policy of whether we can even have a party for a political candidate. It is all tentative."
The regional manager insists the party will happen. "It is not tentative. We are having this party and Joe Biden will be here. I'm through with this discussion."
