TN Governor hopes to attract much needed bachelorette parties with free Party Plane rides

Nashville, TN - Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced a new initiative on Tuesday to bring 10,000 bachelorette parties to Nashville and other Tennessee cities.

In Nashville, the Tennessee On Me program will offer participating brides-to-be a $250 voucher for Music City's newest transportainment attraction, The Nashville Party Plane.

"Tennessee is known around the world for its music, absence of gun laws, and exciting transportainment offerings," said Governor Lee. "Bachelorettes, we need you. And our locals can't wait to welcome you back with open arms."

Not all Tennesseans support the program. For example, one Bucksnort resident was angry that the offer did not extend to bachelorette parties in his area.

A local tax-payers group also launched a Tennessee No Lee campaign to raise $2.5 million to entice the governor to leave the state.
