Trump celebrates first days of Christmas by surprising friends with pardons in a pear tree

Washington, DC - With only two days until Christmas, President Trump has already begun celebrating the holiday by surprising 15 of his truest friends with pardons in a pear tree.

According to White House sources, the president personally handpicked the pear trees from a California orchard's website and has rush shipped them to prisons around the country where the deserving criminals reside.

A spokesperson for the president told reporters, "This president believes the true meaning of Christmas is about love and forgiveness. It is in that holiday spirit that he is pardoning these good, good men who just happen to be among his loyalist supporters."

The spokesperson said the president is planning to celebrate all 12 days of Christmas and is particularly looking forward to the nine dancing ladies on Day 9.
