U.S. Space Force shares exclusive photo from first annual Christmas party

Washington, DC - The United States Space Force shared an exclusive photo on Thursday from the new military branch's first annual Christmas Party.

The event held on Wednesday at the White House brought together Guardians from all ranks of the organization to celebrate the season.

"This is historic," said General Mark R. Naird. "We've never all been in the same room together. My mind is racing warp-speed."

The two-hour party featured light hors d'oeuvres, some caroling, and toasts by the Space Force leadership.

Captain James Tiberius Kirk closed out the speeches, saying, "In 2021, let us unite to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before. May the force be with us."

The event closed with a Dirty Santa gift-exchange won by S'chn T'gai Spock.
