Lebanon, TN - The Wilson County Fair unveiled today its newest attraction for the 2019 season, the Port-O-Whirl ™.
The new addition was designed to address past complaints by fairgoers that lengthy wait-times at the Midway bathroom facilities were cutting into their ride time. The new thrill ride hopes to be the perfect solution.
Garry Guthrie designed the thrill ride in partnership with PolyJohn Amusements. Guthrie told reporters, "This is without a doubt, my greatest achievement. Imagine spinning above the midway at 130 feet while revolving at 13 RPM. It's basically a 3.5 g experience all in the comfort of a standard port-o-potty. This one's going to knock some pants off for sure."
The Wilson Country Fair runs from Friday, August 16 through Saturday, August 24. Tickets are available online or at the box office starting Friday at 5:00 p.m.
